"It may be littered with cat videos and baby clips, but YouTube is no waste of time. Just ask 16-year-old Lucas Cruikshank, "sexiest geek" Philip DeFranco, or the brains behind the obnoxious, animated "Annoying Orange."
According to TubeMogul, an analytics and advertising firm, these video hosts and producers are among the top ten highest-earning acts on YouTube, their videos earning them six-figure incomes over the past 12 months and scoring hundreds of millions of views."

20 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Every Sunday
"At the cusp of new beginnings many of us take time to reflect on our lives by looking back over the past and ahead into the future. We ponder the successes, failures and standout events that are slowly scripting our life’s story. This process of self reflection helps maintain a conscious awareness of where we’ve been and where we intend to go. It is pertinent to the organization and preservation of our dreams, goals and desires. If you would like to maximize the benefits of self reflection, I have 20 questions for you. These questions should be reviewed every Sunday morning or sometime during the weekend when you have some quiet time to think. Remember, reflection is the key to progression."

6 Things Your Body Does Every Day That Science Can't Explain
"The human race has scaled the tallest mountains, charted the deepest oceans and played a quick front nine on the freaking moon, but there's one frontier that still largely mystifies us: our own bodies. There are everyday phenomenons you'd think must have been explained ages ago, but in reality asking these simple questions of a scientist will net you at best a shrug, and at worst some bull&*#@ he just made up off the top of his head."

Spend A Year Without Spending A Dollar?
"In 2008, economics graduate and former businessman Mark Boyle gave up the one resource we all crave more of: money. He sold his house, found a place to live where he could trade labor directly for accommodation, set up a rocket stove made from discarded catering cans, a solar shower, a veggie garden, and a compost toilet. And on November 28th (International Buy Nothing Day 2008), he became The Moneyless Man."

Does Thinking Positive Really Help?

How to be a Successful Evil Overlord
"Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists, or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time."

Review: 'Vampires Suck' Even Worse Than 'Twilight'
"From the comic "geniuses" who gave us Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans...'Nuff said? Now writer-directors Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer sink their not-so-sharp teeth into the vampire genre—and drain it of all humor. Fangs for nothing."

"Sonic Colors" Disappoints Hard-Core Sonic Fans
"Sonic fans may be disappointed as Sega says Sonic Colors is meant to appeal to children between 6 and 12 years old"
----
"In a recent interview Sega’s Takashi Iizuka has stated that Sega’s promising Sonic Colors wasn’t created to appeal to hardcore gamers and is instead meant to appeal to children between the ages of six and twelve years old.
'We know there are sometimes opinions about control from core gamers, but we’re intending Sonic Colors to be played by children of probably between six and twelve years-old. So, with Sonic Colors we have aimed to make a game that everyone can control and have fun in. So, it’s not really a game for the core gamers. If you take the rail grind, it’s something that’s fast, not difficult but is fun to do and looks great. It’s about making a game that’s right for the core audience of the game.'

The Real Man Challenge
Alyssa Milano has used Twitter as a way to raise money for charity and has been quite successful with it. Recently the Old Spice Guy was replying to tweets via personal videos which were then posted on YouTube. In response to this, Alyssa decided to challenge to Old Spice Guy to donate to the National Wildlife Federation. So far, there is no word on whether there will be a donation but in response to Alyssa' video, Keith Powell from 30 Rock decided to take up the challenge. So he created a webpage which makes it easy for you to donate to the NWF. As of today (8/15) $3,679 has been raised and the number increases daily. Plus if you donate and leave a comment for Keith, he might respond to you with a video on YouTube. Thank you Keith, for showing that you are a real man.
